Alfonso Aramendia, in collaboration with SPAIN-USA.ORG, coordinates the interaction of Spanish fans with Spanish basketball players in the NBA and with Spanish football teams that were visiting the U.S. capital.
He also supports the NBA's Washington Wizards in reaching out international communities (Italy, Bosnia and Georgia) and arranging interactions with their fellow countrymen basketball players.
In parallel, Alfonso has been a contributing reporter for the Spanish Basketball Federation. This has included covering President Obama's activities related to basketball, especially White House receptions honoring NBA champions.
He also served as a media manager for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup hosted by Spain.
Alfonso holds a Masters degree in Sports Marketing and Communications from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy.
