Alfonso organized a group of 200 Spaniards to see the exhibition game between Real Madrid and DC United in Washington DC, August 2009. Real Madrid soccer club invited 70 of those fans to attend the practice session the day before the match. Some players like Kaká, Cristiano Ronaldo and Casillas, went to the stands to meet and greet the fans.
